Educational Material Support Program
Educational Material Support Program: supports 500 children to attend school through partial sponsorships in the form of educational materials and school fees. Due to the success of our sponsorship program, rather than turn needy families away, we have launched this new initiative in 2005 to provide these families with a basic kit - uniforms, shoes, socks, school bags, text books, exercise books, copies, pens, pencils etc - for their school age children. Through referrals from networking NGO’s who take care of the social needs of the family, the Educational Material Support program (EMS) offers a partial sponsorship, which allows SATHI NEPAL to extend a helping hand to a much larger group of people, with a long-term goal of supporting up to 1000 disadvantaged children.
